Good Evening Ride with Jan & Shelties

Finally, finally, finally we got to try out our new open cargo trailer and go for a nice bike ride with no rain clouds in sight. It was a beautiful evening, but we waited until just before 8pm so it wouldn't be too hot and off we went. Riding on the Jordan River Parkway, lots of people strolling with families, walking dogs, riding bikes, running and just walking by themselves.

We decided to try Chip out in the open trailer, although when we use it anywhere else we will put a crate in and have the dogs contained. Chip did just fine. We had him tied in at first, but before we left we decided if he did do the worst and jump out, being tied to the trailer would not be a good thing. So he rode unrestrained and most of the time he was sitting, but some of the time he was laying down.
Jan led our bike ride and I was close behind. We had a nice time together for our "family" bike ride. I am so happy to have Jan's health back. What a blessing.
Tink and Glitter.
That left Glitter and Tinkerbell in the enclosed dog trailer. Tink was crying, either she wanted to get out and run or she didn't like that Chip was ahead of her.
All hooked up and ready to go.

Chip ready to ride in the new trailer.
Come join us some evening, we look forward to seeing you!
