Burke Creek Trail

Our afternoon hike the first day was also close to camp, it is right next to Kahle Park. It was funny, the long line of cars - it just took one person not paying attention and most of the group went past the turn. I was thinking to myself, this is the wrong way. I know where this hike starts so I turned around, finally others followed.
What a beautiful afternoon for this hike. It was warm, and this hike is mostly shady. A lot of people and dogs went on this hike, too many for me actually but we go no matter what. My favorite is when the hiking numbers thin out and the die hard hikers go... we are a smaller group.
